Medical Massage is a system of massage techniques that were developed in the 1910-1930's from Germany, Russia, France and England. Medical Massage is not method of preventive therapy. It is a highly effective method of treatment and an important part of modern medicine.
It uses approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles, and accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of endorphins. No use of Essential Oils are used.
First, like no other regular therapist is Clinical Interview forms and
of Dermatomes / Myotomes sites with potential abnormalities developed separately in the skin, superficial and deep fascia, skeletal muscles and periosteum, then addressing them on a layer by layer basis specially designed clinical tools. The second equally important component of the MM concept is the ability of the practitioner to know and address the source of the innervation of the affected soft tissues. Then the local effect of MM is combined with its reflex mechanism, this allows MM to be effective clinical tool in treatment of somatic disorders and in addressing the somatic component of various chronic visceral disorders.
After assessments then we setup treatment plan for 6 to 15 sessions. Everyone has different amount of sessions needed. These treatment sessions must be with in 3-5 days apart. We also include passive and active stretching after ever session, and objective data testing with ROM and Manual Muscle Testing Grading.
Present History of Medical Massage
Then from 1977 to 1983 Dr. Ross Turchaninov, MD came from the Odessa Medical Institute and Kiev Scientific Institute of Orthopedic and Rehabilitation, Ukraine after that he came to US to offer education in Medical Massage protocols through New York & Scottsdale, AZ. in 1984 to the present. His education and studies of Neuromuscular and Connective tissue "Fascia", involved education with over 100 years of clinical treatments all from Germany, Ukraine, Great Britain, USA, France, Austria, Russia. This education and Medical Massage Modalities Treatments were brought to WTC in FL. and me Allen T. Stanley now educated in 70+ Clinical Protocols.

Acupuncture with MPS
Acupuncture is been around for hundreds of years, usually done with needles but still with new research on 30 years with medical objective data shown today on how MPS is healing and balancing to ANS "Autonomic Nervous System which controls pain.
Acupuncture Without Needles is Remarkably Effective
You know how effective acupuncture can be. But are there alternatives to the needles? After all, who wants to experience pain to relieve pain.
The answer is a resounding YES. Modern science has recognized the great benefits of acupuncture — and improved upon it. This is where Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) comes into the mix.
Instead of having to lay still on the table for 30-45 minutes with needles sticking out here and there, now you can experience the benefits in comfort. MPS is a portable device which mirrors the effective of acupuncture. Instead of needles, a pen-like device emits a low voltage DC current to achieve the identical purpose. No acupuncture needles. No acupuncture needle insertion. Just topical stimulation of the exact same acupuncture points your health provider is using.
Acupuncture Benefits for Chronic Pain
Most importantly, research shows MPS to be as effective – or even more effective than the benefits of traditional acupuncture – as measured by increases in heart rate variability (HRV), a key factor in determining pain levels in the body.
The most popular MPS therapy device is called the Dolphin Neurostim. The device is “intelligent” with the ability of locating the precise acupuncture point.
Healing Using the Nervous System
- In order to understand Pain or sensory conditions you MUST understand how imbalances of the ANS influence pain.
- There are 2 branches of the ANS, parasympathetic (rest & healing) and sympathetic (flight/fight/stress). It is the Sympathetic system in flight/fight phase that appears to causes most health problems in humans. During SNS flight/fight phase, hormones are released & blood moves from your organs to your muscles to prepare for engagement.
- Originally designed for short term survival, in modern society long term nervous system stress.
Auricular Ear Therapy
Auricular Ear Therapy & Zero Balancing is a simple yet powerful technique for aligning the body's energy system with the physical structure of the body. Each session generally takes between 30 and 40 minutes, and is performed with you fully clothed. Once your structure and energy system are balanced, many dysfunctional habits tend to release automatically. In addition, you are able to function with greater ease and clarity in the world, leading to a deeper overall sense of well-being and health.
This is done thru Auricular Therapy with Dolphin Acupuncture "No Needles".
Developed in the former Soviet Union, Russian Massage is considered to be one of the most non-invasive and relaxing forms of massage therapy. Combining aspects of both therapeutic and sports massage, it uses a variety of specific techniques to release stress and enhance circulation. As with all forms of massage therapy, open communication during the session is encouraged to make sure you are enjoying the experience as much as possible.
Therapeutic & Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Scar Release Treatment
Scars/Wrinkles & Traumas have a profound affect the body. As they form & cumulate in numbers, they may be one of the single greatest factors in the formation of long-term stress & autonomic nervous system imbalance.
Scars & Traumas have been proven to:
- Up-regulate the sympathetic branch of the ANS, producing stress, increased vagal tone & muscle hyper tonicity & sympathetic UP-regulation.
- Strain & pull fascia, which connects to all muscles & organs of the body. One small strain can cause significant muscle imbalances throughout the entire body, producing pain & muscle weakness far removed from scar or trauma sites
- Scars create adhesions inside the body! Adhesions reduce muscle & organ performance, produce pain/dysfunction.
- Scars block blood circulation & energetic flows through the acupuncture meridian system, producing energy stagnation.
MPS Scar Release: ANS (Autonomic Nervous System) Deregulation. This therapy releases intersection scars involved with meridians which energetically influence pain patterns. MPS Therapy applied around a scar can re-polarize the scar tissue, increasing blood circulation, energy flow, releasing fascia and significantly improving ROM "Range of Motion".
Some clients have seen scars decrease, depends on each scar. This treatment can be done all over body, to give healing and wellness.
Site Specific Treatment
This type of treatment is designed on specific areas when you don't have time for a full medical massage. Just to alleviate some pain for you until you can get in for a full treatment, this may include hot stones and trigger point therapy will most likely include stretching.
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger Point Therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing "trigger points" in your body. Trigger points are tender areas of tension similar to acupressure points, except they occur in the belly of the muscle rather than along the energy pathways of the body. These "knots" are built up throughout a person's life due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress. During a session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques order to release your trigger points. This process can be quite painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative.
This can be part of Medical Massage Therapy and done as add to Therapeutic treatment.
Lymphatic Drainage Therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy, and strengthened resistance to illness.
All Protocols done under Medical Massage and certified MMP.

Sports Massage Pre/Post Events
Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function.

Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.
Active Isolated Stretching
Developed by Aaron Mattes, Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is a dynamic system for improving your flexibility and overall well-being. As you probably already know, stretching your muscles not only reduces your chance of injury, but also strengthens your tendons and improves your circulation.
Myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the bonds that exist between the fascia, muscles and bones. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body. Direct myofascial release is sometimes known as deep tissue work. Indirect release applies light pressure and gently stretches the fascia; this allows for increased blood circulation and relief from pain.
Cupping is to give quick ROM "Range of Motion" & decrease pain very quickly.
